Travel pram and car seats

I’m looking to travel to dubai with my (will be) 4 month old in March. I need advice on what travel pram to get. And what I should do about car seats for taxi rides. I have a car seat here but I don’t want it to get scratched or damaged by being in the luggage hold. What have you all done?

I took my little girl to Dubai at 4 months, we rented a yoyo pram which was perfect and could fit in the overhead on the plane. We didn’t take our car seat but you can select a car on Uber that comes with a car seat, although a couple of them turned up with an older child’s seat so had to wait for another car. Some were cleaner than others but I tried not to overthink 😩 we limited car journeys as well and mainly went to local places where we could walk x

My friends been several times with her baby to Dubai and she took a zummi eden travel pram and her Doona for the car seat x

Travel pram I’d recommend the Joolz Aer+. Car seats take your own. You can’t put a price on safety and you have no idea on the history of a seat in a taxi, it’s likely been thrown around and cheap. Lots are also forward facing which would be exceedingly dangerous for such a young baby x
