@Jess I did question this as with the infantino one we have it did have a good head/neck support but the Momcozy one seems quite folded down? But I assumed it could be adjusted or I was just reading into the image wrong as it does say suitable for newborns but I don’t want to have to have a hand by babies head ‘just in case’ especially if you’re bending down in it etc whilst on the move! Thank you for your recommendation I’ll look into those options too!
@Zoe I’m taking it all from a baby wearing group on FB, it’ll probably depend on baby’s measurements a lot but the mods seem to have bad blood with momcozy’s advertising to newborns 😂 another option would be postal hire or a visit to a sling library. Agree on the having a hand just in case, we’ve carried a couple of times but I’m always worried with the wrap - hoping the more structured sling gives some more security!
Ergobaby embrace...it's like a normal baby carrier with the softness of a baby wrap. I am trying a baby wrap this time but I still plan on using my ergobaby embrace as well x
Artipoppe or Ergobaby Omni 360 are the ones we had and loved
I really like the Lenny Lamb Upgrade. I find it really comfy and it lasts a lot longer than most. The best bet though is to find a local sling library to try them out in person, or there are some that do postal hire online. What suits others really well may not suit you at all
Hey. I have an Artipoppe which I absolutely adore. I used it with my first from about 4 weeks and still used it with him as a toddler. I find it super easy to put on and also it’s really comfy. They’re pricey but it meant I only had to buy one type of carrier the whole time. Plus I adore the patterns. I got a houndstooth one and so many people complimented it. I think my referral code might still work which saves you about £50 I think if you were tempted. https://referral.shop.artipoppe.com/l/1CATHERINEM72/
I’ve seen momcozy isn’t that great until they’re about 3 months, despite the advertising. We have a koala cuddle band which is like a sling wrap but half the tying is done for you, which is great - you just put it over your head and tighten essentially - and have a Tula Free to Grow on the way for outdoor walks as it can be properly adjusted x
