Baby has a cut in his lip

Hi mom's! Ftm here. My little guy has a chapped bottom lip. It looks like a little cut and sometimes it bleeds but it will not go away ! I've tried Vaseline, coconut oil and nipple balm. He also has a humidifier going. It doesn't help that he sucks on it a lot and it sticks out a lot lol Any ideas ? I feel bad. Ugh

Hi. My son is 4 and he gets split lips like this a lot. I initially tried vaseline but it just didn't really work as he didn't keep it in long enough. I was seeing the GP with my son about another issue and he had a nasty split. The GP asked what I was using and said use sudo creme not vaseline. It worked a treat for us. My son isn't keen on the taste so we generally use it when he's asleep xx

I agree with @Caitlin. A tallow lip balm would be amazing. I personally wouldnt put sudocream on babys lips for the risk of ingesting it.

My mom suggested the children's antibiotic cream, he also suffers from chapped lips
