Best nit prevention?
I’m due to see a friend today and they’ve had a recent case of nits; I was wondering if there was anything I could put on my little girls hair to prevent her from getting them in case there are a few nits lingering. I’m going to tie her hair up but was thinking of a spray or something that would deter them? They are 3 so easier said than done just telling them to keep their heads apart all the time!
I can get to supermarkets, boots, Holland and Barrett’s, Superdrug etc

Rosemary or lavender oil, one drop behind ears & back of the neck. They don't like the smell of either and my friend used it all through school & only got nits once 🥲

We used tea tree oil as kids, my dad mixed it with our shampoo and I think we only ever had nits in the house once.
Hair spray makes a barrier. But obviously if heads are touching nothing might prevent. X
My mum used to comb my hair with a nit comb after school every day
