Pregnant

My daughter was born in August and we found out in December that I was pregnant again (COMPLETE SHOCK) due a week before her 1st birthday x

@Ellie oh wow! Congratulations! It’s a complete shock to us too.. I’m worried what others will think/say and how work will take it. We always wanted 2 close together but probably not this close 😅 x

I was worried about what people would think but my other half reminded me that it’s our lives and we’re happy which is all that matters. Luckily my work have been ok with it, I go back in April then will be finishing for maternity again the end of July. Our daughter was supposed to be a twin but sadly we lost them so I’ve taken this as our blessing 🥰 x

I had my daughter in June 23 she's now 19 months... I fell pregnant again 4 months after she was born... I had my next daughter in July 24.. My children are 14 months apart xx

@Ellie yes that’s very true! I will be going back in April and finishing in September. Aww that’s a lovely thought, 100%🥰 x

I'm the same as Kristy, I'm not going to lie it's really bloody hard but the good definitely out weighs the bad

Actually 13 months apart haha... N it's lovely to watch them. But it's hard I'm not going to lie they both require my full attention but in different ways.... My 6 month old doesn't sleep and I'm shattered but I'm trying to wait for the good xx

Just took a test about 20 minutes ago 😭😭😭😭😭 I am 6 months postpartum, I have a perfect baby boy. I haven’t been feeling very well and realised that even though I am taking a contraceptive pill (I still get my period) that I’m late… I have just taken a cheap pregnancy test and it’s a dye stealer positive. My husband and I decided that after our little boy was born, we were done because he was IVF after multiple miscarriages. The birth was traumatic and scary which is why we decided 1 and done. I have been extremely careful and the pill has let me down!

My first baby was born June 2023 and second August 2024 and honestly going through a pregnancy with a younger baby is easier than having a toddler. I couldn’t imagine being pregnant now and looking after a toddler. It would kill me off. So there are definetly positives! I did find the transition of 1-2 much harder than 0-1 and the first few months were really tough but now it’s better and toddler loves baby. Think how close your little ones will be in a few years time 😊

My august baby was my 2nd, 16 months apart from my 1st...joining the 2 under 2 group here on peanut will be very helpful

I have Irish twins 11 months difference it was planned that way. That was my first set of children. They’re super close and are now both teenagers ❤️. As @Nicole said much easier back to back with a baby than with a toddler. Which was my last experience 😱😑 it wasn’t for the weak. But congratulations and I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy 🤰 x

@Nicole My two are the exact same ages as yours, also born June 23 and August 24!

@Shanice my August baby is called Ezra as well. I'm like you and Nicole with June and August Babies
