I had a traumatic pregnancy and premature birth at 32 weeks that I am still recovering from 9 months later. Best advice I can get for that fact is ask your gp or midwife for a birth review to help talk things through and find a bit of closure. I am 19 weeks with my second and my son is currently 9 months old, itās definitely tough looking after a baby while being pregnant and you donāt have as much time to rest and take it easy but I wouldnāt change a thing, my little boy loves cuddling into my bump and I canāt wait to see the bond they grow with them only being around 14 months apart in age. There will be lots of people who like to remind you of the pros of 2 under 2 and lots who like to warn you against it but all I will say is do whatever you feel is right for you and your family right now. Feel free to message me if you want to talk or know anything else and I wish you luck and strength x
The trauma and miscarriages arenāt the issue, itās that we already struggle to live with the cost of living and having 2 so young. We chose to have just 1 because of everything that happened before he was conceived and then during his birth. Itās hard to see how having 2 so young can be a good thing for anyone that is middle 30s xx

I would definitely talk it out with a counsellor / doctor if you are having doubts. A traumatic birth and multiple miscarriages is a lot to hold. I have seen lots of stories of mums on here who have 2 under 2 and are very happy, there is a group on here for mums of 2 under 2 as well so you might find it useful to chat to them/ look at their posts? Theres also things in place for traumatic births / miscarriages for expecting mums, I get the help of a counsellor through my maternity unit (in Aberdeen) and a trauma informed midwife. Do feel free to DM me if comfortable x
