We got the bugaboo giraffe which I know is an expensive option. It was by far my favourite in stores and then I found it 50% off online which made it feasible for us. Had lots of recommendations for the ikea one but I didn’t love it and the research I did said I needed to buy a bit to modify it to make it safe and appropriate and by the time I did that it wasn’t going to be as cheap as it seems so I just got the one I loved. 🤷♀️
We just use the ingenuity seat and put him on the floor or the coffee table, you can strap it to chairs tho!
We have been using the bumbo multi seat and have found it to be great.
2d time mum here who saw multiple feeding specialists with my first bub- the most important thing is that bub is supported correctly by having a footrest that keeps feet at 90 degree angle. This means it must move as baby grows. Also having it be easy to clean is a must. Personally I would recommend the ikea high chair (only $15) as its what all restaurants use to, then get the blow up cushion insert and moveable wooden footrest (Google for companies that do this can't remember brand we used) baby is then happy in all restaurant chairs, it cheap, easy to clean and correctly fitted for baby position. Also there are loads of accessories like cushion covers and silicone spill mats that make it look cute:) Winning all round
Another vote for Bugaboo Giraffe, my two year old loves it, used as a seat now and my six month old has one now too 👌🏻🙌🏻
IKEA or this time around I’m just using the ingenuity seat
