I’m in the exact same position, first floor flat, with no lift. I pop him in his cot once he’s ready to go and run down with the pram. When we come home I leave it downstairs inside the secured door and my husband brings it up when he gets back from work or if he’s away I’ll bring baby up and put him in the cot and run down. I feel your pain though 😅
Do you have a car? I leave mine in the boot so I don’t have to carry it up and down the stairs
@Youss I have considered this and really want to get the Joolz Aer+ for our travel later this year as I’ve heard amazing things about it! The thing is we live in the “suburbs” and with our walks there’s gravel, grassy areas etc and so I don’t know if it will hold up well
@Emma haha exactly the same! 😅 do you get like a rush of adrenaline and anxiety to get it all done asap as well 🥲 then I become even more clumsy
@Sylvia yesss we did do this when my husband was on annual leave at home but he takes the car during the day but hopefully will get my own car soon and then can do that
I used to but then I tripped one day (I wasn’t holding the baby, I was just running back up) and I thought to myself better to take my time 🤣 my building is so quiet and there’s only 12 apartments in it and we pretty much all know each other so that makes me feel safer. I put the same nursery rhyme on every time which I think he associates with going out now, so he’s happy to chill for 2 mins while I sort things 🤣
@Emma LOOLL I’m laughing coz the EXACT same thing happened to me! I was taking the pram down and like you, luckily baby wasn’t on me, and then I missed a step and fell down the last couple of steps still holding the pram 😂🤣😭 I can only laugh about it now!
I got rid of my huge and heavy previous pram and got the Joolz Aer+ pushchair, best money I’ve ever spent!!!!!! It folds up really well, is lightweight and has a handle to carry it down on your shoulder
