Baby hair bobbles

Hi! 👋🏼 Does anyone have any experience with the best bobbles to use for baby’s hair? She doesn’t have loads but her fringe is getting quite long now and I want to tie it up. Anyone know what’s best to use? I’ve found soft foamy ones, normal thin ones or plastic ones?

We use baby bow clips specifically for this reason. If you're thinking of hair bands it'll probably be better to cut it instead

Oh I saw bow clips on Amazon but assumed it wouldn’t keep the hair up? (Was thinking of tying fringe upright, if that makes sense?) 😊 x

We find the clips really helpful especially to help train the hair as it grows. If you put the hair up everyday in a hair band it starts to go funny. I had my hair up everyday for nearly a year before cutting it all off as it damaged my hair so much

I've used the soft foam bobble ones on the left, since my girl was like 5 months old maybe (she has long hair) She has absolutely no issue with having it up in pig tails everyday 😊 doesn't appear to do any damage as they are so soft personally I would think it's much more comfortable than clips!

@Ebony hey love - do you have the details of which clips you use? I looked for some for my girl but all said they were a choking hazard so have been reluctant but her hair is getting unruly haha

@Charlotte https://amzn.eu/d/iqcQgOa I use these ones. Everything is a choking hazard so I try not to panic too much. My little girl hasn't worked out how to touch the top of her head yet so we have a safe zone for her not pulling the clip out haha

I’ve used the soft foam ones since she was about 3.5/4 months and they’re perfect for that age. If they have a lot of hair they don’t hold for very long we’ve now switched to the rubber ones. Very fiddly when they don’t sit still but lasts all day. Hate the normal type hair bands they don’t seem to do much for us x
