I just got news I failed my own hour after passing my early one with flying colors. I had 139 and they want it below 130 😭 I have to take my 3 hour on Wednesday. Hopefully we can both keep it down for Wednesday! Feel free to message me thay morning :)
Anyone of you have heard passing the 3 hours test, if the one hour test was not up to the mark?
@Laura how is it that cut off is different for each individual ?
I failed the 1 hr so did the 3 hr and cleared it . The key advise is to pace ur drink shots but get it done by the 5min mark . Did you throw up on a colored /colorless drink that’s an option to try ? I find empty stomach and clear solution better than colored . Many time the 1hr isn’t accurate as I drank it in 7min not 5min ti it went over by 7 units 141/ 134 . If you throw up have to repeat it unfortunately. I tend to keep talking to the provider at the station to keep my mind distracted .
@Prateeka I have noooo idea. I thought it would be 140 but they said mine was 139 and they want me to do the 3 hour test. I asked and they said 130 was what they wanted it under. I’m confused lol

@Nikki I had the lemon lime in wasn’t colored but the first I had fruit punch which was colored and still gotten sick and threw up both 😭😭
@Nikki I got my 1 hour result at 154 and asked for 3 hours test. Was wondering if it can come in range?

I refused the glucose drink because I knew I’d throw it up! They offered a fasting blood draw/ eating a specific breakfast blood draw for my glucose test to avoid the throwing up

I didn’t even ask how over my 1hr was cause she told me it was really really high at 220 and was skipping the 3hr test and going straight to monitoring 4x a day with an at home glucose monitor
@Lakeisha how we doing this morning? I had fruit punch and I’m feeling so nauseous from it lol go for my first blood draw at 10:15. Hope you were able to keep it down today!

@Lakeisha I am so sorry to hear that. My lab technician gave me alcohol wipes saying that smelling it would help me to get relief in nausea. May be that can help.
No. I failed the 1 hour test by 1 point!!!! Now I am doing the 3 hour test on Friday
