I assume if you're having periods it's not exclusive breastfeeding? As in you're either using a dummy and/or pumping/using formula on occasion? I'd imagine the chances aren't as high as if he'd finished, but would maybe take the morning after pill to be sure if you're avoiding pregnancy at the moment.
If you've had a period since giving birth you're gonna be most fertile postpartum than ever in your life. You can plan B but if you're ovulating it won't work 🙃
@Kate you can get your period back at any point even when exclusively breast feeding… it’s just not common but does happen… and a dummy also has no impact on EBF as long as you feed on demand… hope this makes sense and doesn’t come across rude…
@lanny was going to say the same! i was exclusively breastfeeding my eldest but got my period 12 weeks pp, got pregnant a year later while still feeding!
It is always possible to fall pregnant if you have sex. The fertile window is more possible as you’re more fertile, but any time is possible.
