@Hayley Why would you take an expired car seat? Very unsafe! Target does a trade in every so often and you get a nice coupon for giving them expired car seats. Hold on to that car seat or cut the straps and toss it
Target trade in
Yeah, that’s what I’m waiting for is the target trade in. But I have no idea when that comes up? :/ Thanks ladies! I feel like throwing it in the garbage would be a waste when I can recycle it some how?
@Hayley it’s expired And it’s a newborn car seat.
@Kenetra maybe I don't really know what "expired" means. I just know you can't get them used, and I don't know anybody who doesn't reuse their carseat for their next kid. I don't know what would classify one as expired though.
@Hayley There’s a date on the car seat that will let you know when it’s expired. Similar to food when it’s expired it’s no good. Not safe to eat in this case use. And actually they recommend to never buy or use a used car seat as you don’t know the history of it. It could have been in an accident which deems it unsafe to use. You never know with used car seats always better to be safe rather than sorry!
@Kenetra thanks; I obviously knew food expired but wasn't aware about carseats expiring. Like I said, I'm aware of the used carseat recommendation.
See if anyone wants a free car seat first. Like me, I would take it off your hands. What size kid is it for?
