Drying clothes in flat

How do people dry clothes in a flat with no tumble dryer? My tumble dryer broke a couple weeks ago and I’ve seen a few things about how they aren’t safe in flats so I decided not to buy a new one, but my clothes take DAYS to dry, I have older and younger kids to I’m constantly needing to wash clothes. I’ve hung them on a drying rack but it takes so long. Does anyone know if the heated drying racks are worth it? Thanks. X

I would recommend an air dehumidifier then.....I also think an heated drying rack is more dangerous than a tumble dryer

Heated clothe dryer or get a new tumble dryer. Anything is dangerous is not taken care of.

A good dehumidifier will speed up the drying time process and also help prevent mould

I swear by my dehumidifier, I have a dryer but don’t use it. Just set it a dehumidifier up next to the clothes airer and turn the airer half way through and the washing dries super quick x

I have a umelome spinner it's a spinner and takes like 90% off the water it is very good and my clothes dry a lot quicker, when I use I hardly use the tumble dryer

We use a dehumidifier in the room and have a heated airer that comes with a cover! So good x

I live in a flat and I have a washer dryer, have done for about 2 years now and definitely needed since having my LB in Dec! Heated racks are good it’s just having the room for them, I do also use an airer but use my dehumidifier x

I do an extra spin after the wash cycle finishes then put a dehumidifier next to the airer and it dries really quickly. We use a 12l one x

Spin the clothes after the wash, heated clothes rack and a dehumidifier it’s dry within the day x

Dehumidifiers are great, dries ours in 4-6 hours but not recommended to be in a room that’s used every day as it dries out the air and can cause respiratory issues.

Heated airer at Lidl is 34.99 currently if that's in budget. If not a normal airer with plenty of Dehumidifiers around it

I have a drying pod it literally changed my life, heating drying racks are good but they don’t the clothes as quick as the drying pod personally & it’s the same price! X

Heated airer with the cover and a dehumidifier.

Clothes airer and put in front of radiator
