I got one pack, which has 20 post-partum pads in it, and 4 disposable knickers. Also my midwife said the hospital gives you some after the birth, so hopefully that's enough.
I think I’ve taken 5 of each. They have plenty in hospital too. They gave me their pads whilst I was in there and also sent me away with two packs but I’m just taking my own incase as I’m at a different hospital this time x
I have put a pack in the bag and a spare pack in the car just incase x
I'm taking two packs, think there's 10 in each pack. I should only be in for 24 hours this time but I got through a lot more expected last time so just being prepared this time. For the first week or so you need to change them pretty regularly. I'm only using pads, this was all I used last time. I needed to use some whilst I was in labour last time too.
NHS packing list says 2 packs of pads. I've packed a pack of tena pants and one pack of pads as this was about what I needed when I did 5 days with my first. The hospital will have pads if you're stuck (every drawer and little cupboard in my recovery room was full of them) or even the hospital shop will likely sell them. Mine had formula, nappies, wipes and pads.
I had a c-section, and whilst it’s different from a vaginal birth, I had packed 1 pack of disposable underwear and 1 pack of pads. However the hospital gave me some thin knitted underwear and their pads. Told me to save mine for at home!😊
I've put 5 adult nappies in with a packet of maternity pads. I've made up a spares bag that will stay in the car if needed with extra. Also ftm hoping for vaginal birth :)
