Nappies for chunky babies

Anyone got any recommendations for better nappies for the babies with chunky thighs? He’s roughly 16/17lbs really chunky legs he’s only recently went into size 3 nappies but they keep leaving a ring around his thighs and it looks quite sore the ones I’ve been looking at break the bank does anyone have any recommendations that won’t make me have to declare bankruptcy 🤣 or do I just size up?

We use kit&kin. None of the reusable nappy fits him. To tight on the thighs 🤣

Our LG has pretty chunky thighs - she was in Mamia (Aldi) nappies up until size 3 then we moved to little angels (Asda) from size 4 up. We tend to go for the plus sizes just for a bit of extra room and absorbancey x

My wee boy is 5 and a half months and was 17.2lb at the start of December and he’s in size 3 from Aldi and had good chunky legs :)

We found the aldi mamia great for chunky legs 😊

We are using little rascal ones from Tesco. My LO is 5months and into 9-12month clothing 😅🙊

@Laura yh my little one is in little angles ones so do i size up or see if the have a plus size in size 3?

@Jemma chunky baba I love it

Unfortunately mamia ones weren’t great for him at the beginning felt like he was only going through quarter of a pack before they were too small and tight any advice on the sizing etc?

@Heather does it leave a ring or anything on little ones legs? The little angles size 3 and baggy in my little boy but the legs are getting red rings and it’s not nice to see

@Demi I'm not sure what size the plus sizes start but yeah I'd definitely check or if you think your little ones ready to size up then try that xx

Sainsburys own are pretty stretchy x

Thank you everyone I’m trying him again with size 3 mamia ones for a few days see if that changes anything if not I’ll try out your other options 🥰🥰
