Infertile?

At what point in your ttc journey are you classed as infertile? We have been trying for 7 months with taking a 2 month break. I had a baby in Feb and the implant taken out in April. I haven’t fallen pregnant yet but I don’t know if im just stressing and overthinking that I’m not fertile anymore 😂😩 I still ovulate and have my periods every month

It takes up to a year to get pregnant to nhs guidelines.

I got booked in through my GP to see a gynaecologist after a year of trying with no luck! Don’t give up, stress can make things worse! Xx

@Courtney Davis yeah I had to take a couple months break cause I was OBSESSING over it and wasnt enjoying life you know. It took 8 months for me to get pregnant with my boy so hoping in a couple months everything should be regulated

@Chloe oh 100% that’s why I had to take a break. And my parter had skin tags on his groin and is on meds so we can’t have sex rn so it’s a blessing in disguise. I’m taking vitex, folic acid and co0q10 so I hope that makes a difference x

@Jade I was the same. We tried for 3 years for our first! It isn’t healthy but when you want something so bad! I’m the opposite for my second I can get pregnant but can’t stay pregnant had 2 mmc in 5 months :( xx

@Courtney Davis ah no girl I’m so sorry for loses, did they find oit a reason why you miscarried at all? X

@Jade thank you! And no, they won’t check until I’ve had 3. Which I hope doesn’t happen xx

@Courtney Davis oh really! I thought they would want to check as soon as possible! I’m really hoping it doesn’t happen, ur so brave to keep trying though xx

@Jade thank you! And nope apparently not; it really sucks! I made sure I documented both though. I’m not gonna for a while tbh, can’t face the heart ache x

@Courtney Davis I really don’t blame you! But if you ever wanna chat, just drop me a message ❤️🫶🏽

@Jade aw thank you I really do appreciate that!! And you too girl🫶

Pretty sure you can be referred to a fertility clinic after trying for 1 year, don’t think things like ivf are possible through nhs if you or your partner already have children but its always worth talking to your GP about We were TTC for over 11 years but got pregnant with our first Feb 2024 but lost him at 16w 6d currently pregnant with our rainbow conceived Nov 2024 🤞🏻

@J think it might depend on your doctor as they wouldn’t refer me until I was 2 years trying!

@J yeah my doctor said she doesn’t think I can get ivf cause we just had the baby which is crazy talk I think, but hey. Ah I’m sorry to hear the loss of your lil one, how are you feeling with this pregnancy? Xx

@Courtney Davis hmm 2 years? How come??

@Jade you can’t get help if you or your partner has got any kids! It’s mad. But it’s true unfortunately! Xx

@Jade I think it defo depends on doctors, but I guess this was a few years ago now but my docs has always been like this and my sisters docs is the same as she had to have ivf (they also wouldn’t do anything until 2 years and also has to pay if she wants another) xx
