Baby is hot in car

I have a brand new car and the aircon is really good and I have vents for the back seats too BUT because my baby is rear facing and obviously has padding in his car seat, the cool air is not reaching him and he is really warm. Anyone have any solutions on how I can get the cool air to reach him? Thankyou x

So preface this with the fact that I know the general population and cpst (car seat safety people recommend against it) But before I traded in my rogue for a Tahoe which has vents on the ceiling requirement for me cause I know it’s general unsafe. But I had a fan that I would put on my son on unusually hot days. I also got window shades that had a hot sensor on it so I could see when the car cooled off enough back there that I could take the fan down. There’s also a product called a noggle I think that attaches a soft hose to the vent and then you can snake it around to reach the back. But this was 100% of the reasons I got a different car that and I needed more space in general

@Khyia Thankyou for your reply. I have window shades and they are great. My son runs warm naturally and it’s very hot in the country I’m in. I’ll have a look at the sensor you are mentioning! ☺️

I definitely second the hose thing!

Aim your middle front vents at the ceiling
