TW - potential miscarriage

I’m looking for some hope please 💔 I had a miscarriage in October so we were so happy to find out that we’re pregnant again. This morning, I’ve woken up and there was bright red blood, exactly like I had 2 days before I miscarried last time. The only thing that’s throwing me is I’m only 10/11dpo and my period isn’t due until Sunday. Anyone had any success stories where they‘ve had similar bleeding and baby is ok?😞♥️

So sorry to hear you are going through this. It reminds me of my situation and I ended with a beautiful baby. I also know someone who had heavy bleeding and went on to have a healthy baby so there is always hope. The only advice I can suggest is to do another pregnancy test x

That does sound hopeful. With my bleeding my line was more faint until there was nothing with my miscarriage. Sending you lots of prayers x

It sounds like implantation bleeding. Good luck!

After 2 miscarriages in Feb and April 2024 I got pregnant again in May 2024 and had bleeding when I was approx 4-5 weeks which was like a bright red period …but tests still strong so called EPU who scanned me at 6 wks and all was ok. So they prescribed me progesterone and then rescanned me at 8 wks and still all ok and bleeding finally stopped after 9 days! They just said it was unexplained bleeding but baby fine. Then had another really bad bleed the day after my 12 wks scan and ended up doing to A&E. Again I assumed we were miscarrying and was devastated but a scan showed it was subchorionic haematoma and was harmless. Had another scare at approx 17 wks that turned out fine then from then the pregnancy was absolutely fine. Now I’m sat holding my healthy little girl whose 2 weeks old. So although bleeding is scary (especially after previous loss) it doesn’t always mean bad news. Sincerely hoping for you that yours is good news in the end for you 💫 🤍

@Lizzie thank you so much for sharing! My tests are getting really dark, especially in a short amount of time so trying to keep that in the front of my mind. So glad your little girl is okay ♥️
