If you got your peak on 18th Jan you probably didn’t ovulate until 20th Jan making you more like 10DPO. I would highly recommend tracking BBT as this pinpoints when ovulation happens and confirms it happened. If you’ve been trying a year you will be eligible for basic testing from the GP (both you and your partner)
@Amy thanks for replying back, we have went to the GP and they have done test but everything came back “normal”. I am due my period today so according to trusty google, I have ovulated late this cycle which can effect fertility? I’m not really clued up on this so hoping for it all to fall in to place 🤞
Even if everything came back normal they should refer you to the fertility clinic for further testing, as the GPs tests are very basic and may not pick an issue up. If you’ve ovulated late it won’t affect fertility, it just means you have ovulated later. Hoping you get that positive test soon x
With my little girl she's was accidentally on purpose conceived. We didn't do OV tests or change our diets or anything. When I was due my August period it was 14 days late and I was testing periodically though these days too but all tests were negative. When my September period was 5 days late I tested again and found a bright positive. My little girl is now 9 months old and thriving. Don't be disheartened as TTC is a mix of science, hope and the body doing its thing. Trust in your body and know that it knows the right time for a baby and this cycle might just not be the right one. You maybe destined for a summer baby rathe than a winter baby ❤️
