Haven’t yet but I’m thinking as soon as I’m showing. However I have a work trip at the end of Feb and I work in the wine industry, so I’m trying to figure out how I get around the “I’m not drinking right now” conversation without spilling the beans!
I ended up telling my direct manager last week because I have upcoming appointments during the workday. I’m also in sales so lots of calls and having him able to cover for me if I am sick is essential!
I plan on telling mine at the beginning of the second trimester like I did with my last pregnancy. Gives them enough time to find cover/ plan for my leave.
I work at Amazon so I waited until I had a positive test from the doctor with whatever restrictions that game with it
I waited until I had my annual review and made sure I was able to secure my annual raise. I told my bosses pretty early as my job can be physically demanding and I knew I may have limitations even before I was able to have my first doctor visit. They’ve been very supportive so far!
I let them know immediately just in case gos forbid anything goes wrong so they aren’t blindsided
They can find out as your belly grows.
I almost let it slip today during my annual review 🙈 I’m planning to tell my boss after my scan at 8w3d, unless I get super sick between now (5w4d) and then - I’m going to need her help to figure out how to tell HR, since we just had a massive company change and no one knows what’s going on lately. I probably won’t tell the rest of my team until the second trimester, since I work remotely so they won’t see me.
If you do anything heavy I would advise telling them when you find out! Like I stock at Walmart I’m 7 weeks and just found out but I told them so they are not working me to hard and I miscarry
I told mine at 6 weeks because I’m very very close to her and she knew we were trying.
I haven't only told those who needed to know that I had certain accommodations. Otherwise I dont plan on saying anything until after the first trimester is over.
I work remote so I can get away with them not noticing. I might wait till 5 months.
I’m going to tell my boss at 10 weeks. I have three appointments the following week and we are close enough that will raise some concern. I’ve also been sort of spacey so I think it’s just better to give an explanation to the person monitoring my performance. I won’t share with my direct reports and other colleagues until I start showing.
i told my managers at 5 weeks. my coworkers will find out when i start showing. i told my managers really because there were a few women at my job who really had it rough with their pregnancies and i was nervous that would happen to me. i knew my demeanor would change significantly.. and in the event i had to call out frequently.. i felt it was important for them to know why. currently 8 weeks and i’m glad they know because i’ve been struggling lately.

My whole office knew at 6 weeks because my morning sickness has been all day and I couldn’t keep anything down. I also have like 9 moms in my office and I think they all picked up on it. My male supervisor asked me if I was hungover 😅😭 poor man meant well he was so flustered when I was like no just knocked up
I’m waiting till after the first trimester to tell mine as I do not what to have the conversation with them if I miscarry before then. But I do I work with special needs kids and sometimes I am required to assist with children having explosive meltdowns so I have told a few of my coworkers is in the event a child needs assistance for being violent they will step in for me and admin doesn’t need to know my business yet.
