Have you spoke to your work about how you’re feeling? They may be able to help you. Like let you leave earlier or start later. I’m unsure if you’d qualify for universal credit if you leave your job. But I’m sure there’s something you’d be entitled to. Try a benefits calculator to help you figure out what you can claim . You could always do something like cleaning people’s houses while you’re very limited on your time because of your child x

At Sarah I did try to speak to them but they aren't willing to support me.I ve been through DV and I m completely on my own.I do claim UC.I just worry that they will sanction me and I will be left with nothing.So scared...I would clean peopels house but I don't drive so it's makes everything a but difficult.. At Keeley I had migraines for three days..I don't wnat to go back.its been so stresfull I feel like it all got to me..I ve worked for them for 3 years but we ve been take over by someone else. I do have their policy, but I just worry so much.I really don't know what to do.I need to work.i ve applied to other jobs but my anxiety in interviews takes over and I never get them....

If you don't feel you are able to work right now ,don't. Sign yourself off and take the time to recuperate and think what you do want to do. At least just have the time off for now. Your mental and physical health is paramount. If you have been with the company for 3 years, it's worth seeing how long they will pay you company sick pay. Usually after 2 years it's better.

At Keeley I was signed off today for a month.I m gonna check company's policy because we have been took over by new people, and I worry now.i would love to find something different in a meantime or maybe do something from home....thanks

How old is your child? If under 3 you don’t have to work but will likely be called for monthly meetings to prepare to get back to work

At Attemis she's 8 and I want to work but the job doensg suits me anymore with hours etc(they ve changed them).I m not bothered about giung ti meeting as long as I ve got some money in mu account

Okay if she’s 8 you may be sanctioned for leaving the job through a resignation so I wouldn’t recommend quitting but you would be able to go off sick if you had a note from your GP. You might be called in for weekly meetings even with a sick note until you either found another job and met the AET or started the process of LWCRA and they agreed you were entitled to it

UC also would not make up for your loss of wages so you would be worse off regardless of whether you went off sick or not. You’d get your full UC entitlement without the wage deduction or with just sick pay reduction if your job pays SSP and you go off sick

At Artemis I was signed off for a month.I am planning to look for another works.Whats Lwcra and how much would I get paid for that?I am planning to look for another work or have a meeting with mu employer and see if they will offer me flexibility with hours.I mean I hate the place and people but it's better to have a job.thanks

LWCRA is for when you have mental/physical disabilities or illnesses preventing you from being able to work at all or work frequently but it sounds like in your position it’s more the job that’s getting to you than health. It’s an extra £420 a month and turns off all work requirements so you don’t have appointments or need to look for a job
