Faint positive?

Hi all, This is the first time in years (probably) that my cycle hasn’t been 28 days long. I had the flu during Christmas which delayed my previous period. I’m unsure of what DPO I am for that reason… could be anywhere from 13-17dpo. My cycle tracker says my period is 2 days late. All I had is a cheap test to hand. Husband will get a digital tonight. I’m a bit dubious to whether to believe this. And not letting myself get excited. We lost our son on the 4th Feb last year at 20 weeks gestation, and only started trying for our rainbow baby since the new year. Has anyone had a faint positive quite late on? I’m so confused.
