Whipsnade or London zoo
Has anyone been to both? If so which do you recommend both are the same distance away from us but not sure which one is better for a day out? Thanks

We have a pass to both and they're both really good for different reasons. Whipsnade is nicer in the fact it's more spread out and so never feels busy, it's also got a great park. The only issue is often the animals are so far away that our LO struggles to see them! She does enjoy it more and more each time we go. London zoo was good for a change and the animals are so much closer, you can walk through a monkey enclosure too. We went end of December and it wasn't too busy but I reckon spring/ summer months it'll get packed
@Hattie @Liv thank you both! Looking at the maps there seems to be more at Whipsnade. We’re going Sunday & driving about an hour & 20 mins so want to make a day of it but really can’t decide which one! 😫

I have been to both pre LO. Personally I prefer Whipsnade but that may be because I hate going on trains in London and no way am I driving there. We have been to Whipsnade once with LO and it worked out really well. We paid to drive through it so we could have a "camp", do a few animals and then drive to the next bit, then we all got frequent rests and could leave a lot of the stuff in the car but only be a couple of mins away if we needed it.
