Thin uterus?

Has anyone else been told it won't be safe to even get pregnant again (after 2nd baby) because your uterus is extremely thin? Do you know what causes this?

Did you have babies back to back? It’s usually what happens when you’ve not fully healed and then stretched again, like blowing up a balloon a few times it gets weak. I was told a minimum of 18m between conceiving to make sure my uterus healed normally.

@Sarah yea there was i think 5.5-6m between 😅 I thought it was 18m between sections

@Victoria id say wait a while for baby 3 and seek another opinion when ready. The longer you heal, the healthier the pregnancy and happier your body is. Give it time to really heal, everyone is different genetically too so some clean quicker than others xx

@Victoria the recommendation is 18 months between any pregnancies even vaginal deliveries, especially c sections though because the internal incision needs to heal ...a lot of providers actually prefer 22-24 months after a c section before a pregnancy but 18 should really be the minimum for healing and safety.

@Sarah i was going to get my tubes tied but now I feel like I got the choice of having a 3rd taken 🥲
