I'm 37+1 after 2 early miscarriages and a stillbirth at 34+6 due to a genetic abnormality. I have been anxious throughout this pregnancy but acknowledging that with your midwife and consultant (if you're under one) helps. I'm in the UK and was referred to Oceans quite late on but found that once I had a plan in place for the birth a lot of that went as I felt more in control. I found working through the Pregnancy After Loss book by Zoe Clark-Coates really helpful - there are entries to read each day and things for you to complete on a daily basis, helps you focus on the day to day and be grateful for each day of your pregnancy x

I had 3 losses between 23 and 37 weeks before I had my son, I don’t believe there are tips on how not to feel how you do because how you feel is completely normal and valid, I also had the book Jenny mentioned pregnancy after loss and I just took every day as it came, my son is now 3.5 starting school in September and the days of feeling so scared and anxious feel so long ago

I had an early loss in 2022 and got pregnant the same year and the anxiety I’ve had during my pregnancy was awful. I had nobody to talk to about it as everyone I knew never went through a miscarriage. The best thing I found to help with the anxiety was crocheting and also completing my foundation degree. Feel free to message me x

So after my first son was born in 2021 I had two miscarriages after him. I'm now 35+6 weeks and due in March. I don't think the anxiety ever goes away until baby is safe and in your arms.

Have a look on willows rainbow box, they have a Facebook or Instagram page. They are a charity that specialise in pregnancy after loss, you can request a box which provides some bits to help with anxiety in a pregnancy after loss. Hope this helps x

I had a miscarriage in Dec 23 and became pregnant again in March 24, the anxiety was horrific. The Worst Girl Gang Ever who have books/podcasts on loss actually launched their Pregnancy After Loss course and materials in the month I found out I was pregnant again so I joined and I'm so glad I did, our WhatsApp group is still going and we speak most days nearly a year on!
