Frightening encounter

Had a frightening experience today! I have been speaking to somebody on here for two weeks, and we usually tell each other about our day etc. Today I'm going on my usual walk and I hear my name being called, I turn around and it's a male. This man walked behind me from the gates of bute Park but kept a big distance, and I didn't feel that he was following me. I said hello, do I know you? He then said I had you as a friend on Facebook (that's a complete lie as I haven't had Facebook in 4 years) I said oh okay and started walking towards the caravan park. He the. Started walking behind me. At this point I turned around and said please walk infront of me as I'm feeling very uncomfortable. He said its a free country I can do as I please. So I just stood facing him and he didn't move. I said well clearly you're following me as you're pretending to be on your phone. He started walking close at this point, so I braced myself and he laughed and walked past me. At this point I saw a couple walking and asked if I could walk down to the gates with them. This evening I was going to message the lady and tell her what happened to me etc and her chat is completely gone, like she has blocked me. Please be careful sharing details on daily activities and locations to people online. I guess an app for mums is ideal for predators to lure you somewhere. I'm thankful that nothing bad happened today, and I will now stop going to the locations i mentioned to the person.
