Last year I did stickers, balloons, tattoos, and gummy snack pouches. I didn't want chocolate or tiny toys that were gonna end up in the trash. They loved it. Maybe snacks could be a good option? It is a little hard to find pre-packaged things that small tho, so heads up 😅
What about arts and craft supplies ?
Candy, toys, stickers, tattoos
@Katie right? Finding stuff small enough to fit in the eggs is hard!
@Fay that would be great for a basket but probably not the actual Easter eggs
My daughter was 1 for Easter last year and she was happy with goldfish 😂 I just put her favorite snacks in them. Goldfish, cheerios, other cereals, cut stickers from a sticker sheet into small pieces, Pom poms
My grandma worked at bank so she always did coins. We loved it. Any sweets or toys were in Easter baskets from our parents. I haven't had to think about it for my son yet - he'll be 9 months this Easter.
@Kate the 1yr old still tries to eat coins 😆 but really good idea once she stops!
Get a roll of stickers and tear off one sticker to put one sticker in each egg. Keep it simple
I put little dinosaurs in them lol and then kisses and the chocolate coins
They collect the little plastic eggs and exchange them all at the end for an easter egg. We've got multiple different allergies too though x
@Samantha that’s such a great idea for a group. I love it.
I filled my 1 yr old daughter’s eggs with Cheerios last year. I’ll probably do the same this year and she’s 2
We do colouring books, art/craft, some chocolate, pjs, books.

@Laura 🍉🇵🇸✊🏻 those are great for the Easter basket. I’m talking the little plastic eggs.
@Sara maybe I need bigger eggs? I couldn’t fit much into the standard ones last year. Definitely not playdough or slinky’s
Some good suggestions on here, but just a reminder that a lot of the candies that people have listed are choking hazards. You can look online for a safe list.
We have done stickers. I did goldfish in a few. m&m’s. My girls love bath stuff. So, we have done bath bombs in some of the eggs. I don’t typically fill all the eggs I hide. I will fill about half of them. I have a couple of golden eggs that I have my girls trade in for things. I did outdoor stuff last year. Sidewalk chalk, bubble toys etc. I totally understand not wanting all the little toys around. My daughter is constantly bringing that kind of stuff home from school. It gets overwhelming!
