Activities at home - ideas pls

What do you do at home with your LO? Do you replicate the nursery activities at home e.g. baking with kid, painting, colouring, sand play, etc? We usually just do puzzles or run around or play with other toys. I don't let him cut veggies etc for example. I wonder if I should be doing more?

I do messy play like baking and painting on special occasions . But usually we just rotate the toys we have , she loves role play so I will show her first how to use her doctors kit with her teddies/dolls or cooking in her pretend kitchen and feed her “baby” and then she will play on her own after for a bit, we do colouring , play dough, play fighting, music and dancing , if I need to do dinner I do let her “cut” veggies with a baby knife and let her pour some things or mix the food for me just gives me time to finish dinner lol. We also love a washing up bowl with water and a working tap, I set that up on a mat and she loveeeesss it . Pretty much same thing every day on rotate lol I usually play with her first to show her and it gets her attention then she will happily play on her own for a tiny bit 🤣

Messy play- shaving foam and cars, moon sand (baby oil and flour) paint on paper on floor and various textures toys to do different marks. Playdough, regular painting, drawing. He helps roll out dough and add toppings for pizza. Making dens, using bubbles and having a dance party. I work in a montessori childminders and they use apple cutters to cut their fruit, dont tend to start that till they’re about 2 years old though x

Spraying and cleaning is a fun one, filling a spray bottle with water and my son goes around the house spraying and wiping
