No judgment, please

I am a stay at home Mom to seven month old boy. I have ADHD and consistently need noise the TV on something I don’t want my son to watch inappropriate thing so I try to limit what I watch when he’s awake but I still need the noise we watch a lot of Super Simple Songs and I love it. He honestly doesn’t pay much attention to the TV unless it’s a song he likes, but I’m looking for more show ideas.

If you can pull up YouTube do Wake County library storytimes! They did a whole bunch during covid and they are so good! And super simple songs does Catie's Classroom!

Club babboo! I'm the exact same way with needing background noise. I love super simple songs as well!

I’m the same way but I listen to a lot of audio books, podcasts and music through headphones to limit screen time. I get most of the audio books through the library so it’s free!

@Tara agree with this! Sometimes when my toddler was little I would put in one earbud and listen to a book or podcast or something

Before we did cartoons we would watch a lot of family friendly cooking teaching videos on youtube. Boring enough to not hold a young childs attention but also educational and more like facetime. Big fan of simple songs or older kids music videos as well.

My husband is the same way. He always have YouTube videos playing in the background. It’s either the gaming videos or horror/paranormal videos playing. Or, sometimes whatever movie/show he’s watching.

I just play music all day long!

My toddler watches Cocoamelon and super simple songs

I'm the same with background noise, and my daughter loves super simple songs, but she also loves Super Simple TV. I also like to turn on some of my favorite crafting YouTubers like Rachel Maksy and Thrifty Day since my daughter is a lot like me and just likes the noise. Even with Super Simple she just looks up every now and again while she's playing lol
