Concerned….

We’ve been trying for 8 months, 9 months off all contriception. We’ve had 2 chemical pregnancies. Currently 11dpo. We’re in the UK. If AF arrives this cycle should I go to the doctors with my concerns that there could be underlying issues? Or will they not even bother with us until it’s been a year? I’m 30, not over weight and generally pretty fit. We fell pregnant within 2 months of TTC our first.

No harm in trying but they probably won’t until a year (a loss also restarts the year which is ridiculous so it would be a year from the most recent chemical). I got in touch with mine after my 2nd chemical and was told they won’t do anything until a 3rd which again ridiculous! But there’s definitely no harm in asking x

How old are you that really matters

I’ve just turned 30. My first pregnancy was fine but complications led to an emergency c section (that was 3 years ago) I’ve had 2 chemicals that I know of only because I’ve tested around 10/11dpo. Around month 2/3 of trying I was 2 days late and ended up with a very abnormal heavy bleed (I never bleed heavy- but just assumed that so early on from me coming off the pill it was more something to do with that) but now after talking to a few people I’m thinking I could have possibly had a chemical pregnancy then too 😕
