Access to benefits as single parent

Hey girls So I need some advice. I work 30 hours a week, me & partner have decided to break up after a few years of trying to make things work. We own a house and ideally I want to buy him out. However due to not working full time & pro rata salary being approx 27K, I’m worried this might not be an option. I have 2 children under 5 , would I entitled to claim universal credit for personal allowance (not housing costs)?

Check the entitled to website

It's called 'turn to us' gives estimates of what you can get.

Make a universal application on their website it is really easy and also you may be able to speak with a benefits advisor at your local children's centre sometimes they have a linked advisor offering drop ins

Look at entitled to website and also UC. You’d be surprised what you can get mortgage wise with pt

The best is to apply to universal credit to check what you're entitled to. Your bank can suggest you what options you have with your mortgage
