what the heck are we having our one year olds doing? i’m going insane. he needs to be occupied 24/7 but he’s in the putting everything in his mouth stage. flipping everything upside down stage. spilling everything out stage. tantrums left and right. he’s not standing or walking yet, and he’s not old enough to “help” in daily tasks cause he just puts everything in his mouth, and can’t stand independently yet. i spend 20 minutes preparing an activity for him to just come over and immediately flip our sensory bin upside down and i’m spending another 20 minutes cleaning it up. feeling like a failed mother over here.

Going through the same thing and it can be frustrating. We baby proofed the whole living room/kitchen so she can just crawl around and explore...my daughter also loves her ball pit and we left out all of the balloons from her party because they are keeping her entertained!
@Jennifer please be fully aware of the choking/suffocation hazard of latex balloons.. I'm literally terrified of babies playing with them 🫣 I'm assuming you mean mylar but mentioning just in case.
