When is the right time to start buying?

16 + 3 here ☺️following! X

I'm 19+3 today and we've done most clothing bits, we're getting the buggy end of the month & then just next to me crib and little bits left to get x

I think that it varies for everyone. We are 20 weeks tomorrow and collecting our first few bits from market place tomorrow but going to store them in the spare room for a few more weeks, not buying anything new for a good few weeks yet

I’m 16 weeks today and have got quite a few bits of clothes. But won’t get the pram and the larger items until after 20 weeks x

19+1 . I got the next to me crib, moses basket , buggy and little bath already as they have been gifted to us luckily. We bought some plain/unisex bits of clothing and some accessories already as we got too excited 😆😆

I'm 16+1 with my first as well 🥹 I've only just started buying few clothes last week because they were on sale. I've also got the pram already from marketplace because it was cheap,in really good condition and loved it so I didn't want to miss out 😂

The right time is when you feel is the right time ☺️🙏🏻 Forget the wives tales and go for it.. Get excited.. You're having a baby!!! 🥰✨️✨️✨️✨️

19+ 2. Ive bought the buggy and car seat but its at my mums. Got a stash of bottles, nappies and some clothing. Not too much, but trying to grab sale items when they are available too

We waited till after the baby shower 🤷🏻‍♀️

I started a while ago because I wanted to do it slowly to spread the cost and be able to find what I wanted secondhand. In saying that, our spare room is now quite full of stuff so depends if you have enough space to store everything!

I'm 17 weeks ish and on baby 2 and my advice is if you have the funds to buy prepare don't wait find good deals and get the necessities I found some shoes at Walmart and slippers for $3 I say this it's good to stock and let it be big then come time they grow and it was simple quick buy; obv. Get their size but wouldn't hurt to get a size up esp for $2, I also got some pjs for $2 all different sizes each I stocked up and then they had robes for sale ($5) recently this is all at Walmart I love their clearance honestly so when you have time or just every grocery visit get a lil something takes less stress buying in due times or waiting for baby shower get what you like at an affordable price to you..

With my first I had pretty much sorted and bought everything by 12 weeks haha

20 week scan today, so we’ve planned a shopping trip for afterwards!

I bought some baby clothes between week 12 and 16. But think I’ll wait for a bit longer to buy the bigger items.

We mainly started buying early to spread the cost as I won't get maternity pay when I stop working so it helps us out doing it earlier x
