@Sarah I never really had any hobbies that's the thing. So it's trying to find something I can enjoy xx
I started embroidering my sons clothes! I started with a jumper and chunky yarn and just got creative. I found it so therapeutic and my son can wear bits too! Xx
@Charlotte thank you. That does lovely but I'm wanting something that separates me completely from my daughter. I don't mean that to come across bad. I just need something to benefit me. Be a little but selfish if that makes sense xx
Watercolours- sounds lame but there are tonnes of cool stuff you can do, it's not all painting fields. I have zero skills and I can waste a whole day messing with the Gaming - there's just so much you can do and there are so many female only discord channels to get you on your feet Cooking - I pick things I've always wanted to know how to cook, I'll close the kitchen door and the kids are absolutely not allowed in while I watch the ipad and cook away
Do you think you would enjoy the gym? As gets you out of the house and can be really good for your mind as well as body. You could get a little upcycle furniture project if you like to get creative. I have enjoyed doing adult Colouring books in the past. I really enjoy baking and like trying new recipes from my cook book. It gives me some me time whilst I bake and of course I share my baked goods out afterwards and I also enjoy eating them too. I recently got myself a gel nail kit so I'm going to practice doing my own finger and toes nails at home x
I’ve joined a book club with a monthly meet up, and I do a paint n sip class either by myself or with a friend every few months :)
Thank you all for your responses :)
Have you tried yoga classes, maybe organise brunch or lunch dates once a month with your friends, if your feeling like you want to get away from the home and responsibility for a few hours try looking for something outside the home, I haven't left this house without my toddler in 2years I get how frustrating it is
Is there anything you enjoyed doing before baby was born that you could get back into?x
