Centre parks

Is it worth the money? When you’re there is everything like activities free or an extra?

Activities are at extra cost and you have to book in advance for them aswell as the restaurants. However, the swimming pool area is free! I recommend both Woburn and Whinfell!

Only the swimming pool is free, every thing else is extra and it all really adds up. Plus the restaurants and the shop are overpriced, it quickly turns in to a really expensive holiday. Which is a shame because it’s so lovely for young kids and the swimming pool is incredible.

As a family we have been visiting since it opened (and just got back from a trip with our 7m old), we absolutely love it. It’s as expensive as you make it, of course if you want to eat out every night and book lots of activities it’s going to add up! We usually set a meal plan, take a food shop, and spend a lot of our time walking/cycling or swimming (sometimes we spend all day in the pool)! It also depends how old your kiddies are as to whether you go in/out of term time, and what activities they want to do! Our favourite is Sherwood Forest.
