It is very much possible for the placenta to stop covering the cervix as baby and uterus grow but every one is different so only time can tell.

I had this at 15 weeks and I'm now 22 weeks and it moved up out of the way. Hopefully yours will move up too x

Mine moved out of the way ! Have faith, your uterus grows a lot so there’s definitely a chance

I had this at 20 weeks and had a bunch of scans but it hadn't moved far enough away by 39 weeks so we had a scheduled csection. For reference, your placenta needs to be at least 2 cm away from your cervix for most obs to be comfortable with a vaginal delivery because of the risk of bleeding. It's very likely that it will move though since your uterus still has a lot of growing to do. I will say that my csection experience was wonderful though. While I was disappointed, having it scheduled made it very calm and recovery was pretty smooth all things considered. While it's a major surgery, it's very routine so I would recommend talking to your provider about your concerns/fears just in case that's what it comes to.

My friend had it in her first pregnancy and it moved in time for her to have a pool birth at home!
