Hey mama! We just found out we have #2 on the way a couple days ago as well. Almost 5 weeks along. I have the same fears as our country seems to be doing a lot of back tracking lately. But just remember that this stuff comes in waves. Our only job is to love our family unconditionally and do whatever is in our power to make them feel loved and safe. And that's all we can do. Hang in there mama!
11.5 weeks with my #2. You’re not alone - it feels really uncertain right now and I do worry about then current political climate! But I like to look at it as we are bringing amazing little humans into this world and have an opportunity to raise them to be kind, compassionate and accepting of others. I have hope things will turn around. Congratulations!! 🩷
This is said by everyone throughout time. Our time is no more or less uncertain than it was in 1980 with the great recession, 1930 the great depression, etc.. all times are uncertain. Your family will be untouchable if you don’t let these irrational fears creep in. Focusing on family and nothing else matters. My two cents because you asked.
