Do you live in California?
Same as above ^ depending on where you live you may be able to get her on some sort of plan temporarily. Mine was called DHSS or something like that in CA, and that’s how my little man got his 1 month shots because his insurance didn’t come through yet
@Jackie I do live in ca
Same. I was having issues before my insurance went through and I found there’s some pediatric offices who do a monthly payment (without insurance.) like this one https://www.discoverypeds.com/page-4/ It’ll prob still cost you a couple Hundred for the shots, but it’s better than the thousands!! Also idk if u would quality, but you can try to apply for medi-cal and then use a doctor from www.ktdoctor.com
@Jackie this is awesome I’ll definitely check out descovery pediatric if I can’t find anything closer I appreciate the links
I had something similar happen to me when I had my first baby.. marketplace denied my daughter.. so I had to pay everything out of pocket.. the hospital gave me a 60% discount, but it was still $8k 🥴 Some local clinics will offer a discounted rate if you dont have insurance. My daughter was going to a local pediatrician clinic, and they offered an "out of pocket" flat rate upfront payment per visit that cost $100 (and this included vaccines).. so for her first year of life, I just paid the $100 per visit vs $350 monthly premium to add her to my insurance.
