High white blood count

I had a blood test the other day because I've been suffering with really low energy so they were checking my iron levels. I haven't spoken to a dr yet but I've just checked on the NHS app and my results have come back to say I have a high white blood count. After some goggling I'm a bit worried it might be pre-eclampsia, but I have no other symptoms and when they've been checking my BP At my appts there's been no issues - my next appt isn't until the 24th, but I'm unsure whether I should wait until then (I'll be having another blood test as I'll be 28 weeks) or if I should call the maternity triage, thoughts?

If it's really high then I would call triage or the doc as it can be a sign of infection and they need to tackle that.

What was your WCC? It may be that you have an infection on board and your white cells are elevated to help fight it off x

I ended up ringing the maternity triage and they said it looked okay, they've just said it is worth dropping a urine sample off to my docs to check for any infection, but they said my WCC levels weren't actually that high! Thanks all ☺️
