First time Mama

Hey there mamas, I’m new here and this is my first pregnancy. I’ve wanted to be pregnant and have chilsten practically all of my life. However I totally underestimated how much this can do to my body and also how awful I’d feel. First no symptoms and now at my 6th week mark, all the symptoms flooding me at once. I also have like 0 friends so it makes it harder to go through not having anyone to talk to about the mental and emotional toll or even for advice and comfort, Any suggestions? Advice? Encouragement?

Hi Precious! Congratulations! I believe this platform will be very helpful for you. It's also important to have hobbies or activities that bring you fulfillment and happiness. Additionally, try to limit social media use, as it can easily contribute to stress. Stay strong, and surround yourself with positive, supportive people

First trimester sucks, but we are all in this together! You got this. ❤️ Second trimester is muuuuch better! And then third trimester kinda sucks again (tired and uncomfortable) but the excitement and preparation gets REAL. :) this time around I’m making it a priority to get in the gym and go to the chiropractor. I think that’s super important- prepping our bodies for the big day. Mind over matter sister we got this!!!! 💕

I felt the same! I was so excited to be pregnant and then the symptoms hit. I know it’s hard to believe but it really will be worth it. I’m sorry you don’t have many people to reach out. Having a village was very important for me. But you’ve taken the first step in building a village by coming on here! Feel free to direct message me if you ever just want to talk. I’m happy to help and support another mom going in this journey.

@Brianna Thank you so much I messaged you!

Congratulations! Pregnancy is a very hard but extremely fulfilling journey. Try to remember the prize at the end. This won't last forever. Happy to talk anytime if you want to reach out. ❤️
