Hook effect pregnancy test?
Has anyone gotten multiple negative tests but later found out they were wrong?

I’ve read it happens in multiples also, When I was pregnant with my first 16 years ago I got negatives up until 12 weeks. Idk what’s going on I’ve never had a late period so I’m trying to figure out what’s happening before I can make it to my obgyn this week.
That’s so interesting! Did you ever learn why you didn’t get a positive until 12 weeks w your first pregnancy?
How late are you right now ? Did you test for ovulation? It’s possible you ovulated late.. so it pushed/delayed your period

My understanding is hook effect would happen (if at all) around beginning of 2nd trimester bc your hcg has to be sooo high/peak.
