NHS

Not necessarily baby related but I’m currently on anti depressants and as I’ve been trialling what’s best for me I’ve been paying the £9.90 charge for the monthly pack, however I’ve now been given 2 months worth and when I went to pick it up they said I have to pay twice? Even tho they’re prescribed together and it’s the same item. Can someone clarify if that’s right? I thought it was £9.90 per different medicine ? Not the same?

You have been charged correctly as it's per item.

Yes definitely per item not per prescription

If they were on two separate prescriptions then this is correct. Maybe see if GP can put them on the same prescription for next time and it will be one charge x

Even on same prescription it's per item I had to one to get so me creams for my hands as the soaps at work gave me contact dermatitis and I had to pay for the 3 creams x

Thanks all x
