Pregnancy due date month disappointment

Hi , I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this. My first child was born in February 2023. We planned that we would try for our second baby January/ February/march 25 so we would end up with a October/november/ early December baby 25 just before our little one turns 3 I don’t want a huge age gap ( would love a second baby that time of year and that it’s not too close to our first baby’s birthday in feb) Just done a pregnancy test and it’s negative I can’t help but feel sad that our plan hasn’t gone to plan. I honestly don’t know what I thought, that I was super lucky and could get pregnant when I wanted it to happen 😞 I mean any child to be born in any month is a blessing I was just hoping it would be those months. Just feel a little disappointed ☹️

You still have March! Don’t get yourself down and don’t put so much pressure on yourself🫶🏽

@Kiera thank you , I’m just worried that that won’t work neither. I came off the implant October last year and my periods are all over the place really hard to track. Xxx

So I came off the coil September 2021, got pregnant February 2022 and then gave birth October. My periods were literally a mess aswell! Your body takes a few months to get back to normal so it could happen over the next few weeks. I actually got pregnant on a night out drunk with my partner at the start of February for an early valentines😅 maybe let loose for a night and just have sex for fun rather than baby making if that makes sense?xx

It’s so hard to give yourself such a strict timeline when it is already a long process to convince x try not to get yourself down xx

Be kind to yourself - you can't control these things!

Yeah this sort of thing rarely goes to plan lol. My 1st and 2nd have birthdays 2weeks apart! I didn't really care when my 3rd babys birthday would be, so long as it wasn't the same month as 1 & 2, which thankfully it wasn't
