My LO likes blanket/cushion bundles / forts. Playing with toys, stacking/cars. Get them to ‘help’ with anything that needs doing - sweeping / cleaning high chair, clothes in and out of washing machine.. passing you things.. My little one is always so chuffed with himself when he manages to pass something cumbersome. I know TV time gets a bad wrap and we do try to limit it and type of things he watches but I also know what pain flare ups are like and sometimes needs must.. my LO likes Cars films. Music session with household things. Singing / dancing modified however you need. Also I personally think it’s good for them to have free time, not purposeful or entertained for them to be bored or figure it out.. as long as in a safe space ok to leave them to it for a bit whilst you rest up. I hope you’re feeling better soon!
I stick toys and balls to the door/ wall with masking tape and she loves taking them down and taking the masking tape off the toy
I’ve been making homemade taste safe play dough and also chia seed slime with food colouring to keep my little one entertained on the struggle days (28 weeks pregnant and knackered)
@Molly do you have the recipe please? Congratulations too x
@Charlotte thank you! It’s so hard having a flare up and occupying a 15 month old x
