Children and scan appointments

Hiii So I have a scan appointment tomorrow at RAH Paisley and there will be no one at home to leave my toddler with. Is there any chance they will allow me to bring my child with me to the appointment? Anyone had any any similar experience at Royal Alexandra Hospital

I took my toddler in with me in a buggy so he wasn’t able to run around, I didn’t have childcare so I had no choice. They weren’t thrilled honestly but what can you do x

Yeah same is the case with me. Earlier I was thinking to leave her with my SIL but she herself is now admitted in the hospital and my husband is travelling so have no other option!!

Honestly take her, I genuinely don’t see what the issue is if they’re not causing any disruption

What time is your appointment ? I’m just close to the RAH and available between 12pm-2:30pm before I pick my son from school, I would happily sit there with your child.

Think they let you but don't necessarily recommend it if it is a first scan in case there is bad news.

I took my toddler with me, so I think it should be fine
