Growth scan!

I'm on two weekly growth scans due to reduced growth, usually have scan & see the consultant after for a discussion on next steps. I'm 35+2 and find out how early baby is coming today

@ED93 so could there be a possibility that baby has to come early? This is the first time they’ve been concerned about baby’s growth, as I also went into triage yesterday because my midwife picked up an irregular heart beat for baby. Thank you for replying ☺️ Xx

Sorry this was on my news feed even though I’m not on this group , im 24 weeks but I’m showing 31 weeks on the growth chart so I have a scan on Friday, I think I’ll be having my boy around the 35 weeks mark, hope everything goes well x

I had this at 34 weeks with baby measuring a few weeks behind and I’m now 37+6! I have been having booked in for biweekly growth scans to check how baby was growing and then a doppler scan weekly to check the fluid levels around baby and the flow of blood through the cord was at a good rate. These reading have all come back within range so the hospital has been happy to keep monitoring me In my case my placenta has been maturing so it not giving baby the nutrients that it should so I’ve been booked in for an induction next week but it’s more of a precaution to keep baby in optimal health. They’ll keep an eye and make recommendations based on what they see but don’t be afraid to ask questions 💖

@Paris-may ive got growth scans too as my baby is measuring small and the growth has dropped, they are discussing induction at 37 weeks (im currently 34w) - as your full term, if babys growth on the scan has dropped it might be something they offer🤷🏽‍♀️ good luck with everything x

@Emily ah okay thank you so much for that, I think they may consider it at this point as I had my midwife appointment yesterday baby is 2/5ths engaged and then that got confirmed at triage too 🫶🏻 hope everything goes well for you 🫶🏻

@Paris-may for me yes because I have other factors such as my placenta not being great & persistent bleeding, this is a IVF miracle too. I've had multiple drops in growth aswell xx
