Low PAPP-A

I have this, not too sure what it is exactly, had a phone call when I received the letter to say that it is very common. I have just been advised that I will have extra scans and watched more closely.

I am on aspirin as risk of preeclampsia as my mum had it, but I have no idea what papp-a is x

I have it too, also had it in my first pregnancy with no issues. Little boy was a very healthy 7lb 10. Low papp a is just a risk as most go on to have healthy babies, just means you may be consultant led and have a few more scans x

Hi I had low papp-a with my first pregnancy (and just phoned today to say the same about this one!) and there were no issues at all, just extra growth scans and an appointment with a consultant. It'll be okay, it just means they're keeping a closer eye on you just in case.
