I plan to go back to work in October part time but I am curious to know how long I would need to go back before I can leave. Is it three months? I’ve heard I would have to pay back my maternity money otherwise…. Is that true?

Thank you. I did think that. I was considering going back part time initially, but I think I might need to do full time just to get out of that place and raise my babies until they’re at school! X
I did full time after maternity leave although for 13 weeks ,it was hard but it went quick compared to part time. Remember holidays are included too

I believe it is 13 weeks equivalent to your pre-maternity leave hours. So if you were full time before and only part time when you go back, it would be longer than 13 weeks. For example if you were full time before then you need to do 65 days now or they can ask for your enhanced maternity pay back in full and potentially in one lump sum.
