Seat unit

My baby is coming up to 3 months and is outgrowing his carrycot…the seat unit for the pram says it’s not suitable for under 6 month olds. What should I do?

Unfortunately you'll have to use something else. What pram do you have?

With my sons old pram the seat bit was able to lie flat, can yours do that? I now use my sons pushchair, mybabiie, as it's big enough for both and lies flat

Can you use the car seat in the mean time?

@Charley I have the Silvercross coast

@Chloe I’ll have to check that out. Thank you

@Layla yes that is what I have been doing but I don’t really like to have him in there for long periods of time as per the guidance

My LO is 3 months and has been out of her carry cot for a good 3 weeks. The pram attachment lies flat but she’s also incredibly nosey so it’s a win/win. The guidelines are there as a guide only!

Ah so the silver cross coast has a bucket seat that doesn't like flat, so that's why it's suitable from 6 months. It reclines, but the bum will be lower than feet, with hips always flexed and baby in a seated position rather than stretched out flat.
