Do I need a car seat if I don't own a car?
Hello!
I haven't bought my pram yet and we don't own a car. I'm planning to use the pram and bassinet to walk around Hither Green/Lewisham, public transport but also to travel abroad frequently.
The thing is we don't own a car so I'm hesitant to buy the whole travel system with car seat+Isofix only in the case we'd need it when traveling or occasionally renting a car.
What is your experience? Thank you!;

You will need one when leaving the hospital with baby. I am reselling a used Doona which can be converted from car seat to stroller if you’re interested.

You don’t need a car seat for leaving hospital unless you’re leaving in a car, which I know is likely the case. You can get a decent infant car seat with seat belt installation rather than isofix for occasional travel. Cybex cloud T being a good one.

Honestly, if you don't have a car, I wouldn't spend the money, especially on an isofix car seat. If you end up going about in cars, you can get a car seat later on, just a seat belt attached one and you'll be fine.
